When does it get so Cold in FL that we cover our trees???

if you dont believe me than look at the pic...it was 38 degrees...for me that's like a freaking blizard! However, when does it get so cold n florida that we need to cover our trees??? Am i wrong?? I dunno, it's just so funny to me that I had hubster that a pic...
